For more than 32 years Hollin Gate has been offering the very finest antiques, grandfather clocks and fine new furniture for sale to the discriminating buyer. Quality and uniqueness is what we insisted on when we founded the company in 1974.
Even then, in order to stand out from the everyday furniture and fabric store, one needed to offer unusual items of high caliber. Only by combining high-end outlet stores, unique antiques with running line galleries have we been able to maintain unparalleled selection without sacrificing price.
In the early years we had retail stores in Wyoming, Montana, and a wholesale outlet in North Carolina. By 1979 we had made a decision to consolidate our operation to North Carolina. The stores out west were sold and our energies were directed opening a large retail outlet in Hickory NC.
Today we carry over 50,000 yards. of fabric, a large selection of bronze and hand carved marble statues and fountains, one of a kind furniture pieces, plus many other unique items imported from around the world.
We are located just west of Highway 321 on York Road (1mile south of the Granite Falls Exit or 3 miles north of the Catawba River bridge) and have over 25 thousand square feet showroom.
